Travel into: Key West International Airport: (EYW) most flights will have a layover/quick stop.

We highly recommend Ubering to & from the airport & forgoing a a rental car, if you are staying in Old Town everything is walkable. If you are staying in New Town or Upper Keys, consider renting a car or using Uber/Lyft.

Travel into: Miami International Airport (MIA) or

Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL)

The drive to Key West is stunning.

Spanning 113 miles (3 hours from Miami), the Overseas Highway is famous for its endless sea views & the iconic Seven Mile Bridge. Drive or rent a car, relax and enjoy the views!

Highly recommended. Uber and Lyft are readily available in Key West and very affordable. Expect quick pick up times, and short trips as the island is only 4 miles long.

If you are staying in Old Town, Key West, you can expect to walk most places. Some hotels provide bike or golf cart rentals, and there are plenty of independent shops available if you wish to travel the island by bike or golf cart.

You will find that you don’t need to rent a car unless you are driving from Miami or Fort Lauderdale. You may also consider renting a car if you choose to stay in New Town or Upper Keys.
